About

An Evrima server with your rules

A dedicated The Isle: Evrima server lets your community set the rules of the island: which species are playable, how fast dinosaurs grow, how much AI prey roams Gateway, how long days and nights last and whether humans join in. Admins, a whitelist, VIPs that skip the queue and a password are all settings in the panel.

Evrima servers are hungry: the Linux dedicated server wants a strong CPU and a lot of memory for a full island. Our plans run on AMD Ryzen 9 processors with DDR5 memory, so 100 players and the AI on top of them do not turn into a slideshow.

Plan sizes

Which The Isle plan do you need?

Memory on an Evrima server follows the number of players and AI animals on the island:

A private island: Isle I

8 GB for a community of up to 30 players with normal AI density.

A public server: Isle II

12 GB for 30 to 60 players, extra AI and migration events.

A full Gateway: Isle III

16 GB and more threads for a full 100-player server with everything turned on.

Features

What your The Isle server comes with

Game.ini and Engine.ini are written for you from the Game Settings page:

  • Species and growth

Choose the playable species, set growth, corpse decay, diets and mutations, and turn humans on or off.

  • World and AI

AI density, plant density, day and night length, dynamic weather, migrations and patrol zones, each a setting with an explanation.

  • Access control

Admins, whitelist and VIPs by Steam ID, a join queue, a server password and RCON for your admin tools.

Locations

The Isle servers in 15 locations

Hunting and fleeing are decided by milliseconds. Pick a location close to most of your players:

Pick the location closest to most of your players; the server moves to another location later for free if your group changes.

Getting started

Your The Isle server in five steps

From order to the first spawn:

  1. 1Choose a plan and a location, and pay. The server is created and the Evrima branch downloads automatically.
  2. 2Under Game Settings, set the server name, add your Steam ID as admin and choose the species and rules.
  3. 3Decide on a password, a whitelist or an open server with a queue.
  4. 4Press Start. The first start loads Gateway in about a minute.
  5. 5In the game, open the server browser and search for your server name.
Migration

Move an existing server to VibeGAMES

Coming from another host? Your save and settings come along:

  1. 1

Upload TheIsle/Saved/SaveGames from your old server through the file manager or SFTP.

  2. 2

Set the same rules under Game Settings; the panel writes Game.ini on every start, so copying the old file is not needed.

  3. 3

Start the server and share the new name with your community.

After an Evrima patch the server updates itself on the next start; restart it when players on the new version cannot see it.

Why choose VibeGAMES

DDoS protection

VibeSHIELD, our globally anycasted DDoS-protected network, now spans 46 scrubbing locations worldwide. Every point of presence filters traffic the instant it lands, stopping attacks as close to the source as possible, long before they ever reach your server.

All 46 locations combine into one unified DDoS-protected fabric, so the full capacity of the entire network backs every individual server. Layer that on top of custom game-aware filtering, tuned for the protocols our customers actually use, and it doesn't matter how big the attack is or how long it lasts. Your players stay connected.
