Why host your own Arma Reforger server?
Arma Reforger is Bohemia's Enfusion-engine Arma: Conflict on Everon and Arland with up to 128 players, Game Master for a Zeus-style curated session, Combat Ops for a squad, and Workshop mods that the server hands out by itself. A server of your own gives your unit or community a persistent address, your scenario and your mod list, with PC, Xbox and PlayStation players in the same battle.
Reforger wants CPU for its AI and its large-scale Conflict rounds, and memory that grows with the mod pack. Our plans start at 6 GB and three threads and go to 16 GB and six, on AMD Ryzen CPUs with high clocks and NVMe storage for the big Workshop downloads, behind VibeSHIELD DDoS protection. The server is online within minutes of ordering.
Which Arma Reforger plan do you need?
Player count and the scenario decide the size; Conflict with AI on both sides is the heaviest case:
A squad: Reforger I
6 GB and three threads for 8 to 16 players in Combat Ops or a Game Master session with a few mods.
A unit or community: Reforger II
8 GB and four threads for 16 to 32 players, Conflict with AI and a solid mod list.
Large Conflict servers: Reforger III to IV
12 to 16 GB and up to six threads for 32 to 128 players, big mod packs and full-size Conflict rounds. Upgrading keeps your config and mods.
Scenarios, Workshop mods and crossplay
The server config is a JSON file and the panel exposes the parts you change most.
Conflict, Game Master, Combat Ops
Pick the scenario and the map in the panel: Conflict on Everon or Arland, Game Master for a curated op, Combat Ops, or a community scenario from the Workshop.Workshop mods, delivered by the server
Add mods from the Arma Reforger Workshop to the server config and the server downloads them on start; players get them automatically when they connect. No manual syncing.PC, Xbox and PlayStation together
Crossplay is on by default, so players on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 join the same server. PlayStation players cannot join servers running mods that contain scripts, so a console-friendly server keeps to asset mods.
Arma Reforger server locations worldwide
Low ping is half the fun. Our Arma Reforger servers run in 15 datacenters across Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Oceania and Africa, every one on the same AMD Ryzen hardware with NVMe storage and behind VibeSHIELD, our own DDoS protection network with 17 Tb/s of mitigation capacity. You pick the location at checkout, and the latency checker below shows your real ping to each one before you order.
Outgrown your first choice? Our team moves your server to another location on request, with your files intact, so the location you start in is never a lock-in.
Your first steps after ordering
The server is delivered installed and running Conflict on Everon. Getting your own server live takes a few steps:
- 1Set the server name, password and admin password
- 2Choose the scenario and the map
- 3Add your Workshop mod IDs to the config
- 4Decide on crossplay and whether PlayStation players need a script-free mod list
- 5Restart from the panel and join from the in-game server browser
Switching from another Arma Reforger host?
An Arma Reforger server is its config: scenario, settings and the mod list with Workshop IDs. Copy the JSON from the old host, upload it or recreate it in the panel, restart, and the server downloads the same mods and runs the same scenario. Player data lives with the players, so nothing else moves.
- 1
Copy the server config JSON from the old host
- 2
Upload it over SFTP or paste the mod list into the panel
- 3
Restart and let the server fetch the Workshop mods

DDoS protection
VibeSHIELD, our globally anycasted DDoS-protected network, now spans 46 scrubbing locations worldwide. Every point of presence filters traffic the instant it lands, stopping attacks as close to the source as possible, long before they ever reach your server.
All 46 locations combine into one unified DDoS-protected fabric, so the full capacity of the entire network backs every individual server. Layer that on top of custom game-aware filtering, tuned for the protocols our customers actually use, and it doesn't matter how big the attack is or how long it lasts. Your players stay connected.
