FiveM VPS hosting
Run your FiveM server on a VPS with full control: your own artifacts version, txAdmin, MariaDB and resources on AMD Ryzen 9 hardware behind FiveM-aware DDoS protection.
VPS plans from € 18,00/mo, deployed in two minutes
Why host FiveM on a VPS?
A managed FiveM server from our game panel is the quickest way to get online, and for most communities it is the right one. A VPS is for the server owners who want more: a specific artifacts build, resources that need extra software installed on the machine, a database they administer themselves, or several servers (FiveM, RedM, a development copy) on one bill.
On a VPS you install the FiveM server artifacts and txAdmin yourself and own the whole stack. That means more work at the start and no limits afterwards. The hardware is the same gaming grade AMD Ryzen 9 you get with our managed servers, and so is the DDoS protection.
What you get with a FiveM VPS
Ryzen 9 game cores
FiveM runs its main thread on one core, so the server FPS depends on clock speed. Our VPS nodes use AMD Ryzen 9 7900 processors with boost clocks above 5 GHz.
FiveM-aware DDoS protection
VibeSHIELD filters FiveM traffic at the protocol level, so a flood against your server IP is dropped at the edge while your players stay connected.
Windows or Linux
Pick Windows Server for a familiar remote desktop workflow or Ubuntu and Debian for a lean, scriptable server. Reinstall from the dashboard at any time.
Your own database
Run MariaDB locally for ESX, QBCore or your own framework, with no remote database latency and no table limits.
12 locations
Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Istanbul, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, São Paulo, Johannesburg, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney.
Snapshots and backups
Take a snapshot before a big resource update and roll back in a click if it breaks the server.
Which VPS plan for FiveM?
FiveM itself is light; the resources and the database decide how much you need. As a rule of thumb:
Up to 32 slots: VPS II or III
3 to 4 cores and 6 to 8 GB RAM for a starting roleplay server with a standard framework, a few dozen resources and a local database.
32 to 64 slots: VPS IV or V
5 to 6 cores and 10 to 12 GB RAM for a growing community with custom MLOs, scripts and a busier database.
64 to 128 slots: VPS VI or VII
8 to 10 cores and 16 to 24 GB RAM for a large server with heavy resources, or step up to a VDS for CPU cores reserved to you alone.
Upgrades keep your data and IP address, so start with the smaller plan and grow when the player count does. Servers that run their main thread at full load all evening belong on a VDS with dedicated cores.
Setting up FiveM on your VPS
The whole setup takes under an hour the first time. Our guides cover each step:
- 1Connect to your Windows VPS over remote desktop
- 2Install and update the FiveM server artifacts
- 3Set up MariaDB for your framework
- 4Create the server with txAdmin and your licence key
- 5Turn on automatic backups
- 6Speed up loading with resource caching
Prefer Linux? The same steps apply over SSH: the help centre has a Linux connection guide and the artifacts guide covers both platforms.
VPS or managed FiveM server?
Both run on the same hardware and behind the same protection, so this is a question of control versus convenience.
Managed FiveM server
One click install, txAdmin preconfigured, automatic artifacts updates, backups and a control panel. No server administration. Best for most communities.
FiveM on a VPS
Full operating system access, any artifacts version, local database, several servers on one machine. You administer it. Best for advanced owners and developers.
Start managed and move to a VPS later, or the other way around: your resources and database move with you. See our managed FiveM hosting for the one click route.
Low ping in 12 cities
Your VPS runs in the city you choose, and the latency checker below shows your own ping to each one. Pick the location closest to your players, not to you.
