About

A BeamMP server for your crew

BeamMP brings multiplayer to BeamNG.drive, and a dedicated BeamMP server means your crew can meet on the same map any time without someone hosting from home. Set the map, the player and car limits, a password or a private server, and tags so people find you in the browser.

Mods are simple: upload the vehicle and map zips on the Mods page and every player downloads them from the server when they join. A map mod becomes the active map with one setting.

Plan sizes

Which BeamNG.drive plan do you need?

BeamMP itself is light; what costs memory and bandwidth is the mod folder every player downloads and the number of cars on the map:

Vanilla maps: BeamNG I

2 GB for up to 8 players with official maps and two cars each.

Modded: BeamNG II

4 GB for 8 to 16 players with vehicle mods and a modded map.

Large communities: BeamNG III

6 GB for 16 or more players, large mod folders and more cars per player.

Features

What your BeamNG.drive server comes with

Running BeamMP yourself means a key, a config file and a Linux box; here it is three settings:

  • Mods page

Upload vehicle and map zips, see what is installed and how large the download for players is, remove what you no longer need.

  • Map and limits as settings

Pick an official map from a list or a map mod by its folder, set max players and cars per player, a password, tags and private or public.

  • Automatic updates

The BeamMP server updates itself on every start, so players on the newest BeamMP can always join.

Locations

BeamNG.drive servers in 15 locations

BeamMP syncs every car's physics state between players; a nearby server keeps other cars from teleporting. Pick a location close to your crew:

Pick the location closest to most of your players; the server moves to another location later for free if your group changes.

Getting started

Your BeamNG.drive server in five steps

From order to the first drive:

  1. 1Choose a plan and a location, and pay. The server is created automatically.
  2. 2Log in with Discord at keymaster.beammp.com, create a key, and paste it under Auth Key in Game Settings.
  3. 3Pick a map, a server name, player and car limits, and whether the server is public.
  4. 4Upload mods on the Mods page if you want them, then press Start.
  5. 5Start BeamNG.drive through the BeamMP launcher, open Multiplayer and search your server name, or use Direct Connect with the address from the console page.
Migration

Move an existing server to VibeGAMES

Coming from a server at home or at another host? Two uploads and you are done:

  1. 1

Upload your mod zips on the Mods page; server-side Lua plugins go in Resources/Server through the file manager.

  2. 2

Set the same name, map, limits and tags under Game Settings, with your existing auth key.

  3. 3

Start the server and share the new address with your crew.

One BeamMP key runs one server at a time: stop the old server before starting the new one with the same key.

Why choose VibeGAMES

DDoS protection

VibeSHIELD, our globally anycasted DDoS-protected network, now spans 46 scrubbing locations worldwide. Every point of presence filters traffic the instant it lands, stopping attacks as close to the source as possible, long before they ever reach your server.

All 46 locations combine into one unified DDoS-protected fabric, so the full capacity of the entire network backs every individual server. Layer that on top of custom game-aware filtering, tuned for the protocols our customers actually use, and it doesn't matter how big the attack is or how long it lasts. Your players stay connected.
