How to change the slot count

The slot count decides how many players can be on your server at the same time. VibeGAMES plans have no slot limit on the hosting side, so this is purely a FiveM setting.

1Change Max Players

• In the game panel, open your server and click server.cfg Editor under GAME SERVER.
• In the Identity section, set the Max players field to the new slot count. This is the number of slots reserved by the server (sv_maxclients).

2Going Above 32 Slots? Check OneSync

• Scroll to the Network & build section and check the OneSync dropdown:
  • Disabled (up to 32 players)
  • Legacy (up to 64 players)
  • Infinity (up to 1024 players)
• For more than 32 slots, pick Infinity (the usual choice for modern servers).
• Note: Cfx.re ties higher slot counts to license tiers. Check your license on portal.cfx.re if the extra slots do not take effect.

3Save and Restart

• Press Save changes and restart your server from the Console page.

Finished

Your server now advertises the new slot count in the server list. If the count does not change, make sure no resource overrides sv_maxclients and that your license tier allows it.
