Why is my FiveM server not listed?

Your server runs but does not show up in the FiveM server list? Walk through these checks in order; together they cover nearly every case.

1Check Your License Key

• The key must be valid and used by one server only. A key that is active on another server makes your server glitch in and out of the list.
• If you bought a key from a reseller, there is a real chance the same key was sold to multiple people. Generate your own free key instead: how to enter the FiveM license code.
• The console should print Server license key authentication succeeded. Welcome! on startup.

2Do Not Enable sv_master1

• Open the server.cfg Editor under GAME SERVER and switch to the Raw cfg tab.
• Find the line #sv_master1 "". The # must stay there. Removing it tells the server not to announce itself, and it disappears from the list.

3Update Your Artifacts

• Cfx.re delists servers on very old builds, and new clients cannot join them. Update your artifacts to the Recommended version.

4Set a Server Name

• In the Identity section of the server.cfg Editor, make sure Project name (the name in the server list) and Hostname (the name on the detail page) are filled in.

5Give It a Few Minutes

• After a restart it can take a few minutes before the list shows your server again. Refresh the server list in your FiveM client, or search for your project name.
