Question 1

What is SA-MP and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

SA-MP (San Andreas Multiplayer) is a multiplayer modification for GTA: San Andreas that lets you run custom dedicated servers with your own gamemodes, scripts and communities. It supports Pawn-based scripting for roleplay, racing, minigame and freeroam servers.

Question 2

How many players can a SA-MP server support?

Accepted Answer

SA-MP servers support up to 500 player slots. Large community servers typically run 100–500 active players, while smaller roleplay and private servers operate with lower caps. Our plans are sized to match your intended player count.

Question 3

Can I install custom gamemodes and filterscripts on my SA-MP server?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upload your compiled .amx gamemode and filterscript files to the correct server directories via SFTP or the control panel's file manager. Configure the active gamemode in server.cfg and restart to apply. The setup is straightforward even for beginners.

Question 4

Do I need a MySQL plugin for my SA-MP roleplay server?

Accepted Answer

Most SA-MP roleplay gamemodes use MySQL for persistent player data, accounts and economy. The MySQL plugin for SA-MP is supported on our servers. You will need a database alongside your server for this setup. Contact our team if you need guidance.

Question 5

Is DDoS protection included with SA-MP server hosting?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All plans include DDoS mitigation at no additional cost. SA-MP servers are frequent targets and our infrastructure is built to keep your community online even during attacks.

Question 6

How quickly can I get a SA-MP server online?

Accepted Answer

Your server is provisioned and ready within minutes of completing your order. Upload your gamemode, configure server.cfg and your server is live.
