Question 1

What hardware is recommended for Arma 3 server hosting?

Accepted Answer

Arma 3 is a demanding game to host, particularly on modded servers with large mission files and AI. A high-clock-speed CPU and at least 4–8 GB of RAM are recommended. Our Arma 3 plans are configured to handle both vanilla and heavily modded sessions.

Question 2

How many players can an Arma 3 server support?

Accepted Answer

Arma 3 servers typically run 20–64 players for co-op and PvP missions. Large-scale milsim events can go up to 100+ players, though performance depends heavily on mission complexity and mod count. Our higher-tier plans are built to support those scenarios.

Question 3

Can I install mods from the Steam Workshop on my Arma 3 server?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Steam Workshop mods are fully supported. Add mod IDs to your server's startup parameters via the control panel and they will be downloaded and loaded automatically. Custom and private mods can be uploaded directly via SFTP.

Question 4

What game modes and missions can I run on an Arma 3 server?

Accepted Answer

Any Arma 3 mission or game mode is supported: co-op, TvT, King of the Hill, Antistasi, Zeus missions, milsim scenarios and custom-built missions. Upload your mission files to the MPMissions folder via SFTP or the control panel's file manager.

Question 5

Is DDoS protection included with Arma 3 server hosting?
