How to enable a whitelist on your Minecraft server

A whitelist makes your server invite only: nobody can join unless you put their name on the list. You manage it with two short commands in the panel console, and the panel's Players page shows you the result.

1Open the Console

• Log in to your game panel and click your server. You land on the Console page.
• Your server must be online to accept commands, so press Start first if it is offline.

2Turn the Whitelist On

• Click the Type a command field below the console.
• Type whitelist on and press Enter. The console confirms that the whitelist is now turned on.

3Add Players

• Type whitelist add USERNAME, with the player's exact Minecraft name, and press Enter. The console confirms the player was added.
• Made a mistake or want to uninvite someone? Use whitelist remove USERNAME.
• whitelist list prints everyone currently on the list, and whitelist off disables the whitelist again.

4Check the List on the Players Page

• In the left menu, click Players under GAME SERVER and open the Whitelist tab.
• Everyone on the whitelist is shown there. Press Refresh if a player you just added is not visible yet. An empty list shows "Whitelist is empty or disabled."
• The same page has Online, All players, Bans and Operators tabs.

Prefer Editing Files?

The whitelist switch also lives in server.properties as the white-list setting, and the list itself is stored in whitelist.json. You can edit both with the file manager, but the console commands above are the safer route because the server applies them instantly, no restart needed.

Finished
