How to add a server banner for your FiveM server

A server banner is the wide image shown on your server's detail page in the FiveM server list. Setting one up takes a hosted image and one line of config.

1Create and Host Your Banner

• Make a banner in .png format, ideally 1865x250 pixels.
• Upload it to imgur.com and copy the direct image link by right-clicking the image. The link must start with i.imgur.com, for example https://i.imgur.com/rYrHNvr.png.

2Add the Banner Line

• In the game panel, open your server, click server.cfg Editor under GAME SERVER and switch to the Raw cfg tab.
• The template already contains a commented example: remove the # in front of #sets banner_detail and replace the URL with your own, or add the line yourself:

sets banner_detail "https://i.imgur.com/rYrHNvr.png"

• Optional: sets banner_connecting "..." sets the banner shown while players connect.

3Save and Restart

• Press Save changes and restart your server from the Console page.

Finished

Refresh the server list in your FiveM client and open your server's detail page: the banner is now shown. While you are at it, also set a server logo and a country flag.
