Where to start with your new FiveM server

You just got your FiveM server at VibeGAMES. This page is the roadmap: it walks the first-day checklist in order and links the detailed guide for every step.
One honest note before you start: building a FiveM server means working with community resources that all install differently. Our support team keeps your server and panel running, but installing and configuring individual resources is your side of the project.
Log In to the Game Panel
- Everything happens in the game panel. How to log in.
Enter Your FiveM License
- Your server will not start without a free license key from Cfx.re. Create and enter the key.
Install a Framework (One Click)
- A framework is the foundation for roleplay servers: jobs, money, inventories. On the Framework Installer page under GAME SERVER you can install ESX Legacy, QBCore, Qbox or vMenu with one click; your existing files are backed up automatically before the install.
- Prefer a vanilla freeroam server? Skip the frameworks and just install vMenu, or nothing at all.
Connect the Database
- Frameworks and most scripts store their data in MySQL. Create a database, import any SQL files your resources ship, and connect the server to the database.
- The Framework Installer configures the database connection for the framework it installs; you mainly need this for extra resources.
Add Resources
- Resources are plugins: every job, car and script is one. How to add a resource. Read each resource's own instructions carefully; dependencies and SQL imports cause most beginner problems.
Log In to txAdmin
- txAdmin is the FiveM web panel for day-to-day management: player list, bans, scheduled restarts. How to log in to txAdmin.
Make Yourself Admin
- Set up your in-game admin permissions through the panel: set yourself as admin.
Keep It Healthy
- Update your artifacts now and then; outdated builds cause crashes and server list issues.
- Create a backup before big changes, or automate them.
Make It Yours
- Set your server name in the server.cfg Editor's Identity section, add a logo, a banner, a country flag and tags, and adjust the slot count.
Finished
That is the whole first-day route: license, framework, database, resources, txAdmin, backups, branding. Take it one step at a time, and good luck with your server!
