How to use a cracked client like tlauncher?

By default a Minecraft server verifies every player against the official account servers, so offline or cracked launchers like TLauncher are refused. To let those players in, you switch off online mode in server.properties.

1Open server.properties

• Log in to your game panel and click your server.
• In the left menu, click Files under FILES.
• Click the server.properties file in the root folder to open it in the editor.

2Set online-mode to false

• Find the line online-mode=true and change it to online-mode=false.
• Press the Save button or use Ctrl+S.

3Restart Your Server

• Go to the Console page and press Restart to apply the change.

Protect Your Server

With online mode off, the server no longer checks accounts, so anyone can join under any username, including the names of your admins. Two strong recommendations:

• Enable a whitelist so only invited players can join.
• Consider an authentication plugin such as AuthMe, which you can search for and install on the Plugins page under GAME SERVER, so players log in with a password.

Players on TLauncher and similar launchers can now connect to your server. Two side effects to know about: skins usually do not display for offline players, and players who joined earlier with an official account get a fresh profile after the switch, so their inventory and position reset.
