Why Your Palworld Server Is Not in the Server List

Your Palworld server is running, but it does not show up when you search the in-game server list. This is one of the most common Palworld questions, and in most cases the server is completely fine. The community list only ever shows a slice of all servers and it refreshes slowly. Here is how to confirm the server works and how to improve your chances of appearing.
Prove the Server Actually Works
- Log in to your game panel and open your Palworld server.
- On the Console page, check the status reads RUNNING and the log ends with a line like
Running Palworld dedicated server on :18003. - Copy the ADDRESS from the SERVER panel and connect to it directly in game, as described in how to join your Palworld server.
- If direct connect works, nothing is broken. The rest of this article is about visibility in the list, not about a fault.
Restart So the Server Is on the Current Version
- A server running an older build than the players usually fails to appear, and fails to accept joins with a version error.
- Your server updates itself every time it starts. Go to Console and press Restart after a Palworld patch and it comes back on the current version.
- Watch the console: it prints the version on boot, for example
Game version is v1.0.3.101283.
Give It a Name You Can Actually Search For
- Open Game Settings and look at Server Name in the General section.
- Searching the community list for a short or generic name returns hundreds of results and yours is buried. A distinctive name is the difference between findable and invisible.
- Set Region in the same section so your server appears under the right region filter.
- Restart the server to apply both.
Share the Address Instead of Relying on the List
- The list is a discovery feature, not the way your group gets in night after night.
- Put your
ip:portsomewhere your players always have it: a Discord channel topic, a pinned message, or a group chat. - Console players are the exception. They can only join through the community list, so for them the name and the platform settings are what matter. See how to let Steam, Xbox and PlayStation players play together.
Good to Know
- Give it a few minutes. After a restart it can take a while before the server is registered and searchable again. Do not restart repeatedly while waiting, since every restart puts you back at the start of that wait.
- A password does not hide your server. A server with a Server Password still appears in the list. Players are simply asked for the password when they join.
- Check your search filters. The in-game list keeps filters between sessions. A leftover region or platform filter hides plenty of servers that are really there.
Finished
If direct connect works, your server is healthy, and the steps above are about making it easier to find. Still stuck with players who cannot get in at all? Open a ticket and include your server address and what the console shows on boot.
